As a Doula, I believe in laying out all your options and encouraging you to inform yourself. I believe in staying current so that I can give my clients the best information available, and I offer many options, even if they seem unconventional. I am a strong believer in a woman's right and responsibility to make her own decisions in labor, and strongly encourage my clients to take classes, visit La Leche League meetings, and prepare emotionally.

As a woman, I believe birth is a natural, safe, sacred event that changes a woman's self-perception and her relationships forever. You will never forget your birth; enter into it with the same intentions, focus and determination that you did in planning your wedding, or other pivotal moments in your life.

I completed my Doula training in October of 2007 in Florence MA.  I'm currently studying homeopathy classes. I have completed numerous classes to include baby wearing, infant massage, cpr/first aid, nutrional courses for pregnancy and vegetarian cooking.  I studied childrens  pyschology and majored in dance before entering the medical field into my early twenties.  To name a few of my interest.  I'm a proud mother of a 2 yr old son. I'm open to working with GLBT families or single parents.  I would like to educate any parent(s) about the healthy and natural options women have to child birth. I'm a strong advocate for the use of a doula in labor and the postpartum period. I believe that women have the right to have information available to them during their pregnancy and after regardless of their financial situation. Sometimes we as women are forced into having our children without knowing all of our birthing options.  I would like to give you, and your family what information I have about these birth options. So you can make the best choices for a positive and beautiful birthing experience.
