~My First Doula Experience~

I am very grateful to have found Shannon to be my doula both for labor preparation, labor and post-partum. She was compassionate from the first conversation we had. The time before labor was relatively brief but she gave me so much support in that time to prepare me for labor, delivery and post-partum and to really build my confidence for all three parts. She was extremely outgoing, and more helpful than I could have ever expected or wanted. I would highly recommend her service to any mom-to-be. She was an altruist to my partner and I and we both were very satisfied.

Shannon was a huge emotional support for me, which I needed after a difficult first pregnancy and post-partum and was willing to help me in any way possible. She was caring and truly put me at ease in preparation for labor, birth and motherhood. She offered many ideas for me to prepare for labor and birth. She was very knowledgeable; anytime I expressed a concern, or problem, both before and after the birth she could offer me or would find me solutions, which I didn’t always have time to seek on my own. Shannon is a very beautiful person and I was very lucky to have had her loving kindness for my birthing experience.
